I am currently an advisor for international affairs at DATAR.
Delegation for Territorial Manaement and Competitiveness of the Territories (DATAR), is responsible to provide to the Government, thinking, knowledge and exchange necessary for the State public commitments to improve the regional balance, but also their attractiveness and competitiveness internationally.
For example, DATAR is responsible for preparing, negotiating and steering the Cohesion Policy of the European Union (including Structural Funds) in France, so it is central to the preparation of piloting and project contracts State / Region, the poles of competitiveness, policies for accompanying economic changes, the rural poles of excellence, and many others. DATAR pilots the Observatoy of the territories and the team for Prospective and Studies.

Since 2006, I am responsible for leading the international team. It is tasked with a dual mission: to spread the French expertise in policy planning and search for worldwide best practices. To this end, we organize meetings of international experts, we receive foreign delegations (83 in 2008), and we respond to invitations to bid for select teams of experts to participate in the key programs international cooperation. Increasingly, we develop bilateral cooperation programs custom built with our partners.
Our activities concern primarily the new Member States of the European Union and acceding States, the Mediterranean countries, large countries such as China, Russia and Japan and emerging countries.
